The course for the qualification to the profession of "Lifeguard" is carried out by highly qualified "Instructors in the Seafaring Arts for Lifeguard" of the SNS and by a Doctor.
The course program is divided into theoretical and practical lessons.
There are various topics that, from time to time, are addressed by the Instructors within specific training lessons (see the exam regulations). In addition to the theoretical notions (meteorology, ordinances of the Port Authority, water treatment in the swimming pool, etc.) the students are prepared with practical tests (swimming rescue, rowing, knots, first aid). At the end of the training period, the "aspiring lifeguard" trainees will take the qualification exam required by current legislation
