Night diving is one of the most fascinating of underwater activities.
At the seaside the reasons for the charm lie in the quality and quantity of life that comes to life at night, even in shallow waters and on the sand; in colors much brighter in lamplight than during the day.
The emotional charge that the night offers, together with the suggestion provided by the lamps of the divers who move in the dark, is unparalleled. There are aspects that must be considered when carrying out this type of dive and they form the subject of the training you will receive during the Night specialization course. In any case, many of the diving skills needed in a night dive are exactly the same as those used in a day dive but, to carry them out in complete safety and tranquility, the mastery of your diving skills must still be improved and more refined.
Why? What is there to see at night and isn't it a little scary anyway?
These are the questions that people who are invited to participate in a night club for the first time usually ask us.
If underwater nature is one of your major diving interests, diving at night will allow you to observe aspects of aquatic life that cannot be seen and studied during the day. You will be able to observe delimited portions of the underwater bottom - those illuminated by the torch - thus increasing the possibility of noticing more details. The seabed, at night, comes alive with many creatures that cannot be encountered during the day. Others, however, which are typically diurnal, go in search of food at night and divers observe and document behaviors that they have never detected during the day. At night, the lighting source is your flashlight. Because the flashlight's light beam doesn't have to travel a long distance in the water, you'll be able to see more vivid, brighter colors.
Photography is also an activity that many divers can enjoy doing during a night dive. Many animals that are not even allowed to be approached during the day can be approached at night, while they sleep, which allows the photographer to capture more detailed perspectives
Re-emerging from the night, after having discovered a world of unexpected colors and having observed creatures that are not visible during daytime dives, and then re-emerging and finding yourself faced with the immensity of the starry sky can only make your enthusiasm explode. A guaranteed sense of euphoria will accompany you until dinner, which you will enjoy like never before.
