DESCRIPTION
This course will give you the skills and experience needed to safely lead groups of certified divers, and is the first step into an exciting SSI Dive Professional career, without requiring you to complete an instructor course. Professional Dive Guides can work for SSI Dive Centers, leading dives in a wide variety of conditions and environments. At the end of the course you will receive the SSI Dive Guide certification.
Scope
The SSI Diver Stress & Rescue course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and avoid stress
accidents and manage common emergency situations to which recreational divers may find themselves exposed.

Minimum age to participate:
15/18 if in active status
Prerequisites for certification:
Advanced Adventurer Certification,
Diver Stress & Rescue Certification,
40 dives logged,
Certification or equivalent experience:
Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility, Deep Diving.
